Its great to see the kids again

My wife and I were gone to a business convention, and let me tell you, it was actually great to be back and see the kids again!

I highly recommend to any mom or dad out there to get away once in a while. I will fully admit that my kids were on my last nerve before I left. Now that we were both gone for a little bit, we came back refreshed and with a new found vigor for being parents!

So, just do it, get away if you can, if only for a night and leave the kids with a baby sitter. You will be glad you did.

Time away can make a big difference for you and your wife. It's incredible how much fun we had!

My youngest are 9 and 11, and they've never been to a sitter. My two oldest did go to the sitters on occasion, and it seemed like it was a needed break. Not sure what the difference is this time around, unless it's just being older. Somehow the time after the kids have headed to bed just seems like enough. Gotta admit though, dinner out, just DH and me would be nice...

Hey

I was just looking to see if you had any other websites or blogs in your portfolio of sites?

I like your blog and ideas.

Drop me an email through www.mlm10weekchallenge.com to let me know any other blogs or sites you have.

I saw you visited my other site mlmtorrent.com recently and just wanted to say hi and see what you were up to.

Would you be interested in doing a text based interview with me about how you build your MLM business, what you have done so far and share your story with my readers?

If so, please let me know and I can send you a list of questions. I will then add your interview to a new interview section I'm creating along with a link back to your blog or business opportunity.

Thanks
Gavin

Yes we definitely need to do that! Hopefully someday soon.

You need happy parents to make happy kids.

That's some great advice for Dads and Moms if they can swing it (i.e. some get away time). And if not for an overnight at least from time to time just for an afternoon or evening. Thanks for the reminder on this!

Hi, dropping by from BC!
Going away is not only good for the parents, but I think it's good for the kids too!

Date night is absolutely a must -- even if it's a 30 minute walk around the block--courtesy of a grandparent or neighbor. I got that great advice from Jim Levine, the founder of the Fatherhood Project. Even a short date reminds you of why you're together in the first place!

You are preaching to the choir, sir. I have always been a firm believer that time away from the kids revitalizes your relationship with them and your spouse. Funny thing is, we worry about our kids when they are gone but they proabably enjoy the time away from us just as much!

SO TRUE!!! I can't even imagine life if I never got any peace.

I love my boys but just getting the occasional bit of quality time with your wife, without them is vital.

It's the same with wives. Occasionally you need to get away from them too :-)
